The Game

Play the Table.

Not the shot.

Pocket Theory makes apparel for pool players who think. Not the ones who slam the 9 and fist-pump. The ones who see three shots ahead, plan the route, and understand that where the cue ball stops matters more than what it pockets.

Every design in the collection is named after a real concept from competitive play. Tangent Line. Key Ball. Stop Shot. Three Rail Shape. These aren't slogans — they're the vocabulary of serious players, and each one comes printed with a full coaching diagram on the back: cue ball position, aim line, pocket line, route to the next position zone. Technical labels. Clean linework. Strategy made wearable.

Why Coaching Diagrams

Most pool apparel is clip art, joke slogans, and eight-ball flames. It's merch that says "I play pool" without saying anything about how you play it. We wanted something different — shirts that a serious player could look at and nod, because they recognize the concept. The kind of design where someone at a tournament asks you about the diagram on the back and you end up in a twenty-minute conversation about position play.

The front stays clean. Small brand mark, concept name, nothing loud. The back does the talking — a full technical layout that reads like a page from a coaching manual. That's the format across the entire line.

Built by Players

Pocket Theory came out of league nights, tournament weekends, and too many hours at the practice table. The brand exists because we couldn't find pool apparel that reflected how we actually think about the game — pattern play, cue ball control, run-out thinking, the quiet discipline of planning three balls ahead. So we built it.

Every concept gets researched, diagrammed, and reviewed before it goes to print. If the diagram doesn't teach something real, it doesn't ship. This isn't decoration. It's the game, printed on a shirt.
